What is Muay Thai?
Muay Thai, known as the 'Art of Eight Limbs,' is a dynamic striking system using punches, elbows, knees, kicks, and clinches. At Myriad, our classes focus on striking concepts, mechanics, partner pad work, footwork, and functional conditioning. It's an all-round workout that builds real skill, confidence, and fitness in a supportive, high-energy environment.
The Coach
Jonathan is a multidisciplinary artist and martial practitioner who weaves striking, grappling, and performance art practices into a grounded study of embodiment. Drawing from a diverse lineage, he bridges technical discipline with deep self-inquiry. He provides training in Muay Thai, Kickboxing, movement and mobility training.
Jon began early in Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, and Wing Chun, later expanding into Balintawak Escrima, K1, Wrestling, and Judo. His approach refines sharp, efficient striking while cultivating a resilient and embodied sense of self. Strength is expressed through clarity.
